I was the type of student who thought they knew what they wanted to do with their life. I was an education major who just wanted to be creative and I just didn’t have enthusiasm. That was until I stepped into design work. It’s a place where creativity is encouraged and used to tell a story. My experience at Elgin Community college was definitely a great one. I learned a lot throughout the time here and I have a few professors to thank for pushing me to not doubt my abilities. I will surely miss being here, but this is only the beginning of my story.
